The Scottish Muay Thai council is Scotlands oldest and largest independent Muay Thai Association. We were formerly part of Master Sken's famous Sitnarong camp. From August 1989 to 1995 we were known as Sitnarong Scotland, headed by Master Skens senior instructor in Scotland John Craig.

John went on to form the Scottish Muay Thai Council on the 13th of January 1995. John became our Chief instructor and had his head quarters and gym in Otago St. which is situated in the west end of Glasgow. This gym was closed in 2001. Our new gym and head quarters is still situated in the west end but has now moved to 1103 Argyll St. Over the years the Scottish Muay Thai Council has gained a reputation for being both professional and reliable. We are now recognised as one of the UK's top camps.

Our camp name is Siam Dornadair, meaning Thai Fighter. John still has a strong bond with his master and mentor Master Sken and also friend and instructor Sandy Holt. He also continues to have a good working relationship with all the top camps in the UK and abroad.

SEAN WRIGHT WEBSITE LAUNCHED

Sean Wright, who is currently living and fighting in Thailand and can be seen on the fantastic new Contender Asia reality TV show, has launched his new website. The website has a bit of background info on Sean, fight record with write ups, photos (videos coming soon), and a page dedicated to the Contender Asia series which he has been part of There will also be a forum on the site soon, for discussion about training/diet/fighting etc. Please go and have a look - The site is still in its infancy and will get better and bigger all the time!

The new website is up and running!

Well everyone, this has been a long time coming! There is plenty more still to do but the old site was just getting too out of date to keep it limping on any more.

The club info is mostly there but still needs updating and the fighters list is practically non-existent but we hope to have this rectified in the not too distant future.
